Elaine Culotti grew up a military brat, traveling throughout Europe wth her English-born mother and Irish-American father. She attributes her sense of style and drama to those younger years in German castles, English farm houses and the wonderful towns of Renaissance Italy.
She opened her own business importing antiques, collectibles, textiles and architectural elements then branched out to begin her own design firm, retail store and manufacturing facility over 10 years ago. The exquisite furniture in the Porta Bella retail location is designed by Elaine and manufactured by her husband Gary in the 25,000 square foot Porta Bella factory which also produces custom drapery, cabinetry and other design elements.
Elaine Culotti has spent the last 15 years designing some of the most elegant, yet livable homes in Los Angeles. From Tuscan style cook's kitchens, to romantic bathroom suites, to unforgettable foyers, Elaine is widely acclaimed for her remarkable vision and exceptional sense of style.
